Avishua Ministries is run by married couple Riaan and Lynette Engelbrecht. We are down-to-earth ordinary people who love the Lord and who are willing to help anyone on their spiritual journey. We want to see people walk in His love, joy, peace, healing and liberty. We want to see people touched by the Lord for our Lord’s yoke and the burden is light and easy.

We know the path of darkness, and how it destroys and consumes. We also know that the power of God’s love and light is unmatched. And God can lead anyone from a path strewn with destruction to a path filled with hope. We also know of affliction, trauma and the torment that so many suffer at the hands of this world and the devil. We have ministered to the afflicted in prison, and truly God does heal the brokenhearted, and He does set the captive free! Yes, the reality is probably every person on this planet has suffered hardship, in whatever form, and some might have even caused hardship. The wonderful truth is that Jesus is the ONLY ONE who can heal us in spirit, soul and body. He is the only one who can deliver us. He is the only one who can bring us into a place of forgiveness, peace, hope and love.

So many people daily feel like they are not worthy, unloved, rejected and betrayed. The good news is that God has created us all. We all have a purpose. We are all created for a reason. No one is unworthy. No one is of little value. God loves us all, as demonstrated by Jesus dying on the cross for our salvation and redemption. God will never betray us. God will never abandon us.

It is our passion and desire to see people walk in victory, meaning enjoying the fruits of forgiveness and love. We want people to discover who they are in Christ, what God has called them to do and to walk in His way. Life is never without meaning, for God is the ultimate meaning of living. God’s way is one of liberating truth, blessings, and strength. It is the way of the Good Shepherd.

We know that the only fulfilment one can enjoy in this life is to be found in Jesus. In Jesus, the storms come to a standstill and in Jesus, we find our meaning. We are to help, to edify, to support, to give advice, to counsel and to equip. Need deliverance? Talk to us. We know what lurks in the dark. We know the web spun by the occult, witchcraft, paganism and esoteric teachings. No story will shock us for God is still in the business of turning the forsaken into an adopted son or daughter of the Most High! God is Deliverance, and indeed by His amazing grace, all will be able to see His grace and mercy.

We are not here to judge. We are here to love, but also to provide honest and real counsel because only in the truth of God can we truly be free. Life is cruel, but God is kind. We are based in Kempton Park, but we can reach out wherever you are.
